Zoute Stables

Zoute Stables in Knokke is a unique 5-hectare estate where guests can enjoy a holiday with their horse and dog. It is set in the heart of nature, close to the Zwin reserve and just minutes from the beach – one of the few in Belgium where horse riding is allowed during the day all year round. The estate features spacious boxes, paddocks, meadows, and a large outdoor arena. A charming 125 m² house with garden and terrace is also available for rent, ideal for a family. The house has a remarkable history: both Napoleon and King Leopold I once stayed there, and it bears the name “De Vrede” (“The Peace”) after a peace treaty signed on the property. Dogs are warmly welcome during any stay. A small fee of €15 per night is requested, allowing four-legged companions to enjoy an unforgettable seaside holiday as well.
